I woke up at 7:10 this morning. It was not early, but it was not too late for cook something for bento.

All the vegetables were very yummy. But only poor thing was that the rice was bit harder since it was at the bottom of the rice cooker.
I tried the Nukaduke (pickles) of cucumber and eggplant (please see last post).
They are good. Photo is just showing the cucumber at the right side of my bento.
Todays tamagoyaki has “shio-konbu” inside. Not only adding the salty taste on it, but konbu also adds the special savory flavor.

I tried cha han (fried rice) to my bento for the first time. I never tried because I didn’t want to eat cold fried rice, but it was not bad. It contains: bacon, egg, shimeji, okra, carrot, goya, lettuce and onion.
